1. Who we are
CareerMatch is an AI-powered career tools platform operated by CAREER STRATEGY SOLUTIONS LIMITED, a company incorporated in Ireland under registration number 819469, with registered office at 6 Shackleton Wood, Lucan, Co. Dublin, K78 E8X8, Ireland.

2. What the service does
CareerMatch offers CV optimisation, cover letter generation, match scoring between your profile and job postings, interview preparation and related tools, in both free and paid versions.
Results are generated by an artificial intelligence model and are indicative. Always review what is generated before sending it to an employer: responsibility for the final content of your application is yours.
We do not guarantee results. We do not promise interviews, offers or hires, and nobody working with us is authorised to promise that on our behalf.
3. Your account
- The information you provide must be accurate, and your password is yours and confidential.
- The account is personal and non-transferable. Pro and Elite access keys are tied to one email address, and activating one grants access to that account.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
4. Plans and payments
Every plan is a one-off payment. There is no subscription, no automatic renewal, and we do not store your card. When the period you bought ends, your account simply returns to the free plan. There is nothing to cancel, because there is nothing running.
- Each plan grants access for the number of months shown at purchase, counted from payment confirmation.
- Payments are processed through our payment gateway (Revolut, Creem or Stripe). We never see or store your card details.
- Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- After payment you will receive an access key by email. Activate it on the site to unlock your plan.
- Career Boost includes sessions with a member of our team. After purchase we will arrange scheduling with you by email.
5. Refunds
14 days, no questions asked. If within 14 calendar days of your purchase you are not satisfied, write to hola@careermatch.app from the address you bought with and we refund you in full. You do not need to justify why, nor stop using the service before asking.
The refund is issued to the same payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Once processed, the associated access key stops working. This policy is broader than the withdrawal right granted by EU consumer law, and adds to it rather than replacing it. We only reserve the right to refuse a refund where we detect fraud, unauthorised card use or resale of access keys. Full detail in the refund policy.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Share, resell or redistribute your access key, or give third parties access to your account.
- Automate use of the service with scripts, bots or bulk extraction of output.
- Enter other people’s data without their consent.
- Use the service to generate false information about your professional experience or qualifications.
- Attempt to access other people’s accounts, our systems, or parts of the service not intended for the public.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. If the suspension happens during a paid access period and there was no fraud, we will refund the unused portion pro rata.
7. Content and intellectual property
What you upload is yours. You keep all rights over your CV and any other information you provide. You grant us only the limited licence needed to process it and provide the service.
What the tool generates is yours. You may use the resulting CVs, letters and text freely, including commercially, with no further payment and no attribution.
The platform is ours. The software, design, the CareerMatch brand, the templates and the site copy belong to CAREER STRATEGY SOLUTIONS LIMITED. You may use the templates for your own applications, but not resell, redistribute or repackage them.
8. Artificial intelligence and providers
To provide the service we send the text you give us to external technology providers, including AI models. They are bound by contract and do not use your data to train their models. The full, current list is in the privacy policy.
9. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may change or withdraw features. If we withdraw an essential feature during your paid access period, you may request a pro-rata refund even after the 14 days have passed.
10. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it.
We are not liable for hiring decisions, lost opportunities, lost profits, or the consequences of sending an employer content generated by the tool without reviewing it.
None of the above limits our liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. If you are a consumer, you keep in full the rights consumer law grants you, which these terms cannot cut back.
11. Cancellation
You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time by writing to hola@careermatch.app. As there is no subscription, there is no pending charge to stop.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is substantial we will announce it on the site and, if we have your address, email you. Changes do not apply retroactively to access already purchased: the version in force on the day you bought applies.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Irish law, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your domicile. If we do not resolve a problem, you can contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (ccpc.ie) or the European Consumer Centre Ireland (eccireland.ie).
